On the winter solstice, the darkest night of the year, we want to awaken our inner clown at the Puppetry Museum. We want to be inspired by this special time, when the boundaries between the worlds are thin and people have always told each other stories of witches, ghosts and shape-shifters...

Especially in dark times, the clown reminds us of what it means to be human. It is more than just a theatrical performance: It is an attitude. It reminds us that even after the darkest night, the light will come back.

A clown walks through the world with an open heart, he says yes to life, he loves contact, lives in the moment and is not afraid to fail. At this special time, we want to playfully explore this special form of theater and its techniques and meet together in the clown.
